    The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced 2019 All-America Football honors. Ellsworth Community College had two players named All-Americans.  Cade Coulson, a freshman offensive lineman from Dubuque, IA, and Jake Poetzl, a freshman defensive lineman from Porterfield, WI.

    IOWA FALLS – The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has announced 2019 Football season honors. Four Ellsworth Community College football players have received ICCAC All-Conference recognition and 20 named All-Region players. All-Conference honorees included offensive lineman Cade Coulson; defensive linemen Jake Poetzl and Keegan Glaus; and punter Jaydon Green.
  • Ellsworth Community College alumni drafted by resurrected XFL

    Demetrius Rhaney, who played for the Ellswroth Community College Panthers during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, was drafted by the Houston Roughnecks in the newly resurrected XFL.  Rhaney was selected second in the fourth round, 26th overall.

    Ellsworth Community College returned to Cadet Field on Saturday after a four game road trip. The Panthers faced rivals Iowa Central Community College and fell 51-6 as the Tritons won the ICCAC title.

    Ellsworth Community College traveled to Forth Scott Community College and tallied just 120 yards of total offense. The hosts scored all of their points in the second and third quarters to win the contest by a 36-0 final.

With the first game coming up next week, the players are working hard in fall camp and looking forward to the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of and commitment to the team’s new mantra: ONE PLAY, ONE TIME.
