On the road against No. 10 Garden City Community College, the Panthers did not convert on a single third down and tallied just 101 yards of total offense in a 61-0 rout.

On the other side of the ball, the Broncbuster offense moved the ball with ease and was no match for ECC's defense. They tallied 391 yards on the ground on Saturday, averaging a first down on every carry.

"Simply, we didn't make enough plays. In every football game there is going to be mistakes and mental busts. The difference was, some of ours were critical mistakes," Panther head coach Mitchell Kleinschrodt said. "Garden City is a good enough team that they make you pay. Every team in this league, they have a great coaches, a great amount of talent and any mistakes those teams make you pay. 

Garden City (2-1) moved the ball down the field on their first possession, but the Panthers were able to keep them out of the end zone. Instead, they settled for a field goal. Just two minutes later that the Broncbuster offensive engine got revved up as they scored their first of six rushing touchdowns. 

Garden City scored on six possessions, and led 41-0 after just 30 minutes of play. 

The second half didn't get much better for the visitors as the Broncbusters scored on the opening possession and never showed signs of slowing down.

It wasn't just Garden City's offense, the defense even got in on some scoring. In the first half they scored on a 60 yard fumble recovery and later, a lost fumble deep in ECC territory that Garden City capitalized on.

The Panthers (0-3) tallied just 101 total yards of offense and punted the ball nine times. AJ Payne was one of two signal callers, but he was just 2 of 7 for 41 yards. Kvonte Baker had just one pass attempt that he did not complete.

On the ground, Marice Whitlock led ECC with eight carries for 74 yards.
