The E-Club, a group of individuals and businesses interested in athletics at ECC, provides needed financial support for scholarships and equipment for the Panther athletic pro
grams. In addition to its annual membership drive, the organization holds an annual wild game feed and a golf tournament to raise funds.
More about E-Club
Your tax-deductible gift to the E-Club benefits both ECC student-athletes and the Iowa Falls community in many ways.
- More Students: Your E-Club membership supports athletic scholarships, which bring students to Ellsworth Community College. The more scholarship money we have, the more student-athletes we can recruit to ECC.
- Expanded Academic Programs: Every 20 students enrolled at ECC creates the need for at least one faculty member.
- Economic Boost for Iowa Falls: ECC tuition cycles through the Iowa Falls community up to six times as faculty and staff salaries become mortgage payments; property tax and sales tax income; and service fees to doctors, dentists, hairstylists, mechanics, etc. Economists have calculated that students spend at least $30 to $50 a week in the community. On-campus student housing for 231 student athletes brings an estimated $554,400 into the community. Conservatively, that means the economic impact of ECC's student athletes in Iowa Falls and Hardin County is about $3,242,317 each year.
- Local Entertainment: A full campus brings more talent to the community in terms of athletic competitions, theater productions, musical performances, and art exhibits. ECC Athletics are good for students, the college, the community, and you!
