ECC announces Academic All-Region honors
June 15, 2016The Ellsworth Community College athletic department has been informed by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) that 51 ECC student-athletes qualified for Academic All-Region honors. First Team honorees must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 to 4.0, and Second Team honorees must have a 3.0 to 3.49 GPA. -

ECC women fall to Kirkwood
January 28, 2016The Ellsworth Community College women traveled to Cedar Rapids, IA to take on Kirkwood Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 27, eventually falling to the Eagles 61-34. The Panthers stuck with Kirkwood for three of the four quarters, but a scoring draught in the second quarter proved to much for the Panthers to overcome.

Ellsworth Community College women's basketball team to RED OUT heart disease
January 21, 2016Ellsworth Community College and North Central Missouri College won’t just battle on the basketball court on Monday, Feb. 1. The Panthers and Pirates will battle heart disease and stroke together by turning the stands into a blaze of red with a RED OUT during the game.

November 17, 2015Ellsworth Community College women’s basketball team participated in the Baymont Inn Classic in Wahpeton, ND, this weekend (Nov. 13-14) taking on North Dakota State College of Science and Dakota College at Bottineau.

ECC women's basketball opens regular season
November 12, 2015Ellsworth Community College women’s basketball team opened the season this past weekend in the Konigsmark Classic at NIACC in Mason City. The Panthers suffered losses against Lake Land Community College (77-48) and Illinois Central Community College (86-48).

ECC women's basketball finishes preseason play
November 04, 2015The Ellsworth Community College women’s basketball team finished its preseason schedule this past Saturday, Oct. 31, after taking on Central College. The Panthers had previously played in the Heart of America Jamboree on Oct. 4, Kirkwood Jamboree on Oct. 11, and a scrimmage against Grand View on Oct. 24.

October 25, 2015The Ellsworth Community College women’s basketball team will begin its season in just a few short weeks. The women have already attended several jamborees and scrimmages to get ready for regular season play.

Academic success for ECC women's basketball
July 30, 2015The Ellsworth Community College women’s basketball program has had a lot of success in the classroom this year. The team is ranked 9th highest grade point average (GPA) in the nation out of all community colleges with a 3.51 team GPA by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
