The Ellsworth Community College Women's Basketball program will be holding three different girls' basketball camp this summer.
The first two camps will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 13 - 15. The camps will be held at two different times during the three days: students going into grades 6-8 will meet from 8:30 to 11:30 am and those going into grades 3-5 will meet from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. ECC's Parent/Child basketball camp for those going into preschool through 3rd grade will be held on Wednesday, June 15, from 6 to 8 pm.
The camps will include working on basic basketball fundamentals: passing, ball handling, shooting and defense. The camps will offer a solid foundation in skill development and motivation while working on developing listening skills. ECC Head Women's Basketball Coach Ed Geitz will be on hand to help with these skills, as well as current ECC players.
Cost of the camps held on June 13 - 15 will be $50 per child, which includes a camp t-shirt; after June 6 the cost will be $55. The cost of the preschool to 3rd grade parent/child camp will be $20.
