Ellsworth Falls to Iowa Central on Gridiron

FORT DODGE, IOWA -- Iowa Central completed a season sweep of Ellsworth on Saturday, beating the Panthers, 62-20, in a game that had two separate 30-minute lightning delays.

The Panthers did some good things on offense but had a hard time slowing down the Tritons' attack.  ECC picked up 16 first downs and was 6-for-12 on third down plays.  Ja'Ron Early led the ground game with 72 yards on 19 attempts, including a 31-yard gain.  Early also scored a TD.  QB Kevin Lukasiewicz was 10-for-17 through the air for 66 net yards and he was picked off once.  Malcolm Gillie caught three passes for 42 yards, Early grabbed three for 17 and Marcus Cranshaw had one reception for seven yards.

On defense, Jonathon Forson had an interception and Michael Moore and Derion Simon each recovered a fumble.  Moore piled up six tackles, all solo stops.  Andrew Behm led the ECC tackle chart with seven.

The Panthers end their regular season with a home contest against Iowa Western Friday night.
