IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Twelve members of the Ellsworth Community College wrestling team were named to the Academic All-Region teams for Spring 2022 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  Seven of the wrestlers earned first-team honors with a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0; five squad members had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team selections.  

The Panther wrestlers on the Spring Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team -- Devan Martin, Eddy Ndayikengurukiye, Ethan Miller, Isaiah Laguna, Lane Reardon, Nate Lendt and Ryan Graves.

Second Team -- Evan Barajas, Kaden Karns, Mirzo Khayitov, Teegan Tschampel and Zeth Strejc.

There were a total of 103 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports who made the Academic All-Region teams for the Spring of 2022.
