IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Niine members of the Ellsworth CC wrestling squad were named to the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.  Seven of the wrestlers earned first-team honors with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher; two had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team performers.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA.

The Panther wrestlers on the Academic All-Region teams are:

First Team -- Devan Martin, Ethan Miller, Isaiah Laguna, Lane Reardon, Nate Lendt, Ryan Graves and Zeth Strejc

Second Team -- Eddy Ndayikengurukiye and Mirzo Khayitov

In all, 107 ECC student-athletes in seven sports made the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.
