Panthers are in 6th Place at the end of Day One at the NJCAA National Tournament

After Day One of the NJCAA National Tournament, Panther wrestling has six out of ten wrestlers still in the competition. Wrestling in tomorrow's semi-finals is Deejay McNeal (125), Hector Candelaria (133), Rozell Baker (184), Darrel Mason (285).  All four received the All American recognition. Still alive in the consolation round are Scott Cook (141) and Cardionte Wilson (149). Ellsworth is sitting in the sixth place heading in to Day Two and the semi-finals.

The four wrestlers eliminated in Day One are Todd Perry (157), Cameron Nesbit (165), Justin Grant (174), Trayvonne Jackson (197). All four provided valuable team points in the tournament for the Panthers as they compete for the National Title.

Day Two of the NJCAA National Tournament will begin tomorrow, March 7, at 10:30 am at the Mid America Center.
