COFFEYVILLE, KANSAS -- Coffeyville CC piled up a 36-0 lead at the half, then scored TDs on 4 consecutive 3rd quarter possessions as they shut out visiting Ellsworth CC, 64-0, on Saturday for the Red Ravens first win of the season.

It was another game in which the ECC offense struggled to get anything going, managing just 73 yards.  The Panthers had minus-7 yards rushing and were 0-for-20 on 3rd and 4th downs.  They also allowed 10 sacks.

Nathan Castor led ECC with 4 receptions for 24 yards.  Dominic McCarren caught 3 for 37 yards and Jaali Parker 3 for 31.  Justin Long picked off a CCC pass and topped the Panthers with his 11 tackles.

Ellsworth starts a stretch of 3 in a row at home next Saturday when they battle Highland (KS).
