IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- After earlier being tabbed as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Ellsworth CC freshman Jonathan Forson added First-Team All-American to his list of accomplishments. Forson made the NJCAA All-American squad as a defensive back. His four interceptions from his safety position led the nation and Forson added three fumble recoveries for a total of seven takeaways, also tops in the country. He scored two defensive touchdowns for the Panthers and also recorded one sack and three pass breakups.
ECC's Andrew Behm also made the All-American list, earning Honorable Mention recognition. The freshman linebacker led the ICCAC in tackles with 70 and was 7th in the country in that category. Behm forced three fumbles and had 12 tackles for loss, including two sacks.
Forson and Behm were accorded all-conference and all-region honors prior to their selection as All-Americans.
