IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Fourteen members of the Ellsworth women's wrestling team were named to the Fall 2023 Academic All-Region teams announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists are made up of the 1st team of student-athletes with grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team of individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA. 

Members of the women's wrestling team who earned 1st team recognition include Abigail Harris, Cambree Howe, Emma Stephenson, Kennedi Judy, Kiley Langley, Natalia Ruiz, Rori Cook, Ryanne Dunn and Shaylee Van Den Berg.  On the 2nd team are Adessa Leibfried, Alexis Hoppe, Elliette Gomez-Perez, Elizabeth Elliott and Meridian Snitker.

ECC had a total of 126 student-athletes from 8 different teams on the Fall Academic All-Region teams.
