MASON CITY, IOWA -- The Ellsworth CC women's wrestling team made history on Wednesday night, claiming the first dual-meet win ever for the Panthers, a 34-12 victory over NIACC.

The Panthers got wins from Kiley Langley, Adessa Leibfried and Toyia Griffin, plus 5 forfeit wins in getting the victory.

Langley won a 10-0 tech fall, Leibfried got a pin in 1:00 and Griffin also won a 10-0 tech fall for ECC.  The other Panthers who took the mat were Ryanne Dunn, who lost a 9-4 decision and Gracie Orr, who was pinned.

The Panther women return to action in a dual against Iowa Lakes on Nov. 29.
