
IOWA FALLS – The Panther volleyball team hits to the road to head East to Indiana for the Blazer Classic volleyball tournament on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7 in Vincennes, Indiana. Rolling into the weekend, the Panthers sit on an 8-3 winning record.
The Panthers will play in four (4) matches across two days. On Friday the Panthers will face Wabash Valley College (IL.) at 2 p.m. and Eastern Florida State College at 6 p.m. Saturday the Panthers will play Pratt Community College (KS.) at 9:00 a.m. and Vincennes University (IN.) at 1:00 p.m.
The Panthers continue to have a strong showing on the court. The team averages 11.54 kills, 10.78 assists, and 15.86 digs per set. Sophomores, Ana Cuartero, Ludine Charron, and Elitsa Peneva, show strength in the numbers. Cuartero has 143 kills on the start of the season, Charron has 172 digs, and Peneva has a total of 349 assists. A trio that can't be tamed.

The Ellsworth Community College Panthers compete in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) and is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Ellsworth Community College is a member of the Iowa Valley Community College District.
