IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Seven members of the Ellsworth volleyball team were named to the Fall 2023 Academic All-Region teams announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists are made up of the 1st team of student-athletes with grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team of individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA. 

Members of the volleyball team who earned 1st team recognition include Ana Clara Cuartero, Elitsa Peneva, Ludine Charron, Manon Morillon and Sofia Betteni.  On the 2nd team are Dallymar Panell and Natalie See.  Panelll was also on the Spring 2023 Academic All-Region team.

ECC had a total of 126 student-athletes from 8 different teams on the Fall Academic All-Region teams.
