DMACC Shuts Down Ellsworth Volleyball

IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- DMACC handed the ECC volleyball team only its 5th loss of the season Wednesday night when the Bears dispatched ECC in 3 sets at Dittmer Gym, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-17, in the last regular-season action for the Panthers.

The visitors bottled up the Ellsworth offense, limiting ECC to 19 kills, 6 of them by Natalie See.  The Panthers had 18 assists, led by Dallymar Panell's 10.  Manon Morillon topped ECC with 13 digs and Ludine Charron had 12.  The Panthers have a been a very good serving team all season, but only had 1 ace serve.

Ellsworth, as the number-4 seed, will begin postseason play against 5th-seed Northeast (Neb.) on Nov. 1.
