CRESTON, IOWA -- The Ellsworth CC volleyball team was pushed to the limit in Wednesday's ICCAC match at Southwestern, but the Panthers prevailed to set a new school record for wins.  ECC, after trailing 2-1, came back to take the 4th set, 25-20, then won the decisive 5th set, 15-6, for the 27th win of the year, breaking the previous record of 26 set in 2012.  Southwestern won set 1, 25-19, the Panthers evened it up with a 25-15 decision, then SWCC moved within one set of taking the match by edging ECC, 25-22, in the 3rd set.  The Panthers extended the match after that and came out on top in only their 3rd 3-2 win of the season.
