SIOUX CITY, IOWA -- The ECC volleyball squad chalked up its 18th win of the season on Thursday night, defeating Western Iowa Tech in 3 straight sets, 25-18, 25-16, 28-26, to improve its season record to 18-2.

Sofia Betteni led the winners in kills with 10 and digs with 16 and she also served a pair of aces and had 3 solo blocks.  Ana Clara Cuartero had 9 of ECC's 37 kills for the match.  Adriana Ramos had the best hitting percentage at .364.  Dallymar Panell did a good job of running the offense, racking up 26 assists.  Ludine Charron contributed to the well-rounded attack with 13 digs, Panell added 12 and Cuartero 11.  

The Panthers are at home for their next 2 matches, against Hawkeye CC next Wednesday and Dakota County Tech Friday.
