WATERLOO, IOWA -- Hawkeye CC, rated 13th in the latest NJCAA DII poll, took care of visiting Ellsworth CC on Wednesday night, beating the Panthers 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-6).
Katie Winter led the Ellsworth attack with 6 kills, one more than Dylann Stephenson. Nuria Bravo Santos chalked up 13 assists and 12 digs. Alondra Acevedo paced the Panthers with 16 digs and Jada Smith was also in double figures with 11.
