FORT DODGE, IOWA -- The Iowa Central CC volleyball team, rated 6th in the latest NJCAA DII poll, beat Ellsworth CC in straight sets Wednesday night, 25-10, 25-21, 25-9.

The Tritons had nearly twice the total for Ellsworth in kills, assists and digs and served 13 aces in the ICCAC victory.

Louise Lion paced the Panthers with 10 kills and Faith Lobo had 7.  Nuria Bravo Santos recorded 11 assists and Lobo 8.  Alondra Acevedo led the defense with 9 digs.

ECC is right back in action Thursday night with a match at Marshalltown CC.
