IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- The Wartburg junior varsity squad won the decisive set, 15-10, to take a volleyball match with the Ellsworth Panthers Monday night at Dittmer Gym.  The Panthers seemed to be in control after winning sets 2 and 3, 25-14 and 25-18, but Wartburg pulled out a tight set 4, 27-25, before taking the win in set 5.

Audrey Melson had a productive night at the net for the Panthers, chalking up 13 kills, one shy of team leader Louise Lion's 14.  Lion hit .382 for the match.  Nuria Bravo Santos registered 37 assists and led ECC with 15 digs.  Alondra Acevedo added 13 digs and Lion 12.  Faith Lobo and Katie Winter each had 2 blocks.

The Panthers head to Iowa Central CC for a conference match on Wednesday night.
