CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA -- Kirkwood CC defeated Ellsworth in straight sets in an ICCAC volleyball matchup at Johnson Hall Wednesday night.  The Eagles won in three sets, 25-19, 25-10 and 25-13.

Statistical leaders for the Panthers included Gabi Damiano, who had 8 kills, and Haley Forge, with 5 kills and 11 digs.  Haley was one of four ECC players with double-digit digs.  Hanna Forge led with 13 and Alondra Acevedo and Damiano each had 11.  Hanna Forge provided 14 assists and Nuria Bravo Santos added 9.  Yoliann DeJesus-Tejedor had 3 solo blocks.

The Panthers play their second straight match on the road Friday when they travel to play Dakota County Tech.
