IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Seven members of the Ellsworth CC volleyball team were named to the Academic All-Region list for Spring 2021 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference for their work in the classroom.  The first-team honorees had a grade point average of 3.5 and above; those on the second team had GPAs from 3.0 to 3.49.  There were five volleyball players on the first team and two on the second team.

Those who earned Academic All-Region XI honors included:

FIRST TEAM -- Gabi Damiano, Haley Forge, Jade Galligo, Sydney Clark and Vitoria Kazanovski; SECOND TEAM -- Katie Winter and Meghan VanDePol.

In all, Ellsworth had 90 student-athletes from eight different teams earn academic recognition.
