IOWA FALLS - Ellsworth Community College sophomores Kaitlyn Baer, Vitoria Kazanovski and Gabi Damiano have all signed on with four-year programs to continue their educations and collegiate careers. Kazanovski signed to attend Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. Damiano signed with Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas.  And Baer signed with Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.  The trio were leaders on the Panthers, all earning post-season honors. Baer and Kazanovski were both named honorable mention all-conference performers and Damiano and Kazanovski were chosen for the All-Region XI-A second team. 

Baer, an outside hitter, led the Panthers in digs with 262, and added 56 kills, 47 assists and 24 service aces in the '21 campaign.

Kazanovski, the Panthers' setter, recorded a team-leading 558 assists and chipped in 58 kills and she led the squad in aces with 41. Kazanovski was also recognized as Ellsworth's 2020-2021 Female Athlete of the Year.

Damiano, also an outside hitter, topped ECC with her 179 kills, an average of 2.84 per set, and was second in digs with 225.  She was also named to the all-tournament that was chosen at the conclusion of the postseason tourney.
