WATERLOO, IOWA -- Hawkeye CC took control by winning the first set, 25-18, and went on to defeat visiting Ellsworth CC in straight sets on the Red Tails home court Thursday.  Hawkeye completed the sweep by winning 25-11 and 25-19.

Jade Galligo led the stat sheet for the Panthers with six kills, hitting .250, and adding eight digs.  Kaitlyn Baer had a team-high 14 digs and also contributed nine assists and three ace serves.  Katie Winter had eight assists, Haley Forge 10 digs and Meghan VanDePol nine digs.

The Panthers are scheduled to play Iowa Lakes at home on Sunday afternoon.
