Iowa Falls, Iowa -- In its third straight match against an NJCAA-ranked team to start the season, Ellsworth lost to Kirkwood CC, 25-16, 25-21, 25-13, Thursday evening at Dittmer Gymnasium.

The Panthers got some strong net play from Haley Forge and Gabi Damiano, who pounded 10 and nine kills, respectively.  Forge hit .348 for the match.  Vitoria Kazanovski provided 24 assists and two ace serves.  Forge with a dozen and Damiano with 10 also led ECC in digs.  

Ellsworth stays at home for a Sunday match against Southeastern.
