Panther Women Outscored at DMACC

BOONE, IOWA -- DMACC overcame a fast start by the visiting Ellsworth Panthers and rolled to a 91-72 victory on Saturday afternoon.

ECC jumped ahead 9-2 in the early minutes but DMACC came back to take a 20-17 lead after the opening quarter and the Bears scored at least 20 points in all 4 periods in taking the win.  The Panthers cut down on their turnovers from recent games and shot 47.5 percent from the field, but allowed a season-high 91 points.

Taylor Ross led Ellsworth in points with 21 and rebounds with 10.  Marin Lind Agustsdottir scored 11 points and had 4 assists, Ingrid Martinez Guillen scored 10 and Favour Nmecha Anyaele had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The Panthers are back home to take on Iowa Lakes this Wednesday.
