IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Kirkwood CC limited Ellsworth to just 9 first-half points and the 4th-rated Eagles took care of the Panthers, 80-38, at Dittmer Gym on Saturday.  KCC had leads of 21-6 and 39-9 after the first 2 periods and held ECC to a season-low point total.  

Kirkwood nailed 15 3-pointers and forced 28 Ellsworth turnovers.  They scored the game's first 13 points and rolled to the victory.

ECC got a solid game from Favour Nmecha Anyaele who was their only double-digit scorer with 11 points and also pulled down 15 rebounds.  Ingrid Martinez Guillen scored 9 for ECC and Taylor Ross had 8.  Fabiana Nieves Martinez came off the bench to dish out 4 assists.  Marin Lind Agustsdottir hit 3 of Ellsworth's 4 threes.

The Panthers will host NIACC on Wednesday night.
