IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ashjahnelle Wilson pumped in 27 points and snared 17 rebounds to help the Ellsworth women's basketball team to a win in their first postseason test on Sunday.  The Panthers routed Marshalltown CC, 70-41, at Dittmer Gym to earn a spot in the Region XI quarterfinals, where they will meet top-seeded Kirkwood CC on Wednesday night in Cedar Rapids.

The Panthers led from wire-to-wire, up 13-5, 28-18 and 46-29 at the quarter breaks as they defeated MCC for the 3rd time this season.  Marshalltown hit just 2-of-20 3-point attempts and only 23.6 percent of their total shots.  Ellsworth went to the free throw line a season-high 30 times and their 47 rebounds were the second-most this year.
