IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- The Ellsworth women's basketball team was held to a season-low point total in a homecourt loss to No. 4-ranked Kirkwood Saturday afternoon at Dittmer Gym. The Eagles rolled over the Panthers, 98-32.
Only 11 of the Panthers's points came in the 2nd half and they made just 10 field goals for the game. ECC was also outrebounded, 58-22.
Key'Lajaha Jefferson Putman was the lone Panther to reach double figures with 11 points. She also picked off 5 rebounds, tied with Arleen Chanez for the team high. Ashjahnelle Wilson, who had missed the previous 3 games with an injury, returned to action and scored 9 points. Jefferson Putman had 3 assists.
ECC has a week off before hosting DMACC on Feb. 18.
