Ellsworth Women Overwhelmed at Southwestern

CRESTON, IOWA -- Southwestern CC took control early, sprinting away to a 57-37 lead after 20 minutes and taking care of Ellsworth CC, 101-61, in ICCAC play Friday night.

Thanks to a whopping 26 offensive rebounds, the Panthers took 83 shots, but made only 30.1 percent of their attempts.  The 26 offensive boards were more than the total number of rebounds they had in their previous contest.

Three ECC players scored in double figures, led by Aaliyah Chambers and Hydiyah Robinson with 13 points apiece.  Halle Miller added 10.  Autumn Shull grabbed 11 rebounds, the 7th time in 11 games this season she has had 10 or more and just one carom off her season-high.

The Panthers will face Northeast (Neb.) next Wednesday night at home.
