IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Eight members of the Ellsworth CC women's basketball team were named to the Academic All-Region list for Spring 2021 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference for their work in the classroom.  The first-team honorees had a grade point average of 3.5 and above; those on the second team had GPAs from 3.0 to 3.49.  There were four players on the first team and four on the second team.

Those who earned Academic All-Region XI honors included:

FIRST TEAM -- Autumn Shull, Ellie Barrows, Halle Miller and Keara Williams; SECOND TEAM -- Hydiyah Robinson, Jada Mullinex, Kevonda Primes and Victaeja Leavy.

In all, Ellsworth had 90 student-athletes from eight different teams earn academic recognition.
