COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA -- A rough second half doomed the Ellsworth CC women's basketball squad at Iowa Western CC Saturday afternoon.  The Panthers were down 21-17 after one quarter of play and went to the lockerroom trailing 46-31.  But they were limited to just 16 second-half points and lost 99-47.

The only ECC player in double figures was Halle Miller who scored 10 points and led the team with seven rebounds.  Jada Mullenix made a pair of 3-pointers and she and fellow reserve Kevonda Primes each scored eight points.  Keara Williams and Ellie Barrows had four steals apiece.

The Panthers are home to play Southwestern CC this Saturday afternoon.
