
Iowa Falls, IA – Three sophomore Ellsworth softball players were named to ICCAC/All-Region lists on Thursday in a release from the league office.
Angelica Agro pitched a team-high 107 innings this season, including nine complete games. Agro posted 113 total strikeouts, a top-10 mark in the league.
Alli Paulsen was a solid force at shortstop this season for the Panthers, assisting on 93 put outs while recording 77 of her own on 188 total chances. Paulsen also crossed home plate a team-high 43 times this season while recording a slash of .316/.452/4.66.
Taryn Petty collected 55 hits this season while recording a team-high 18 doubles. Petty batted .372/.464/.534 in her second year in Iowa Falls.
The Panthers concluded the season with an 18-33 overeall record. The season was highlighted by a home 3-2 victory over a No.-16 ranked NIACC squad on April 12th. The Panthers eliminated Northeast in the Region XI-B tournament but could not get past No. 12 Kirkwood and No. 14 Iowa Central.
