Big offensive swings late against Hawkeye Community College lifted Ellsworth Community College to a pair of wins.

Game one the Panthers (11-13, 2-4) won 6-4 in a back and forth battle. The RedTails (9-24, 0-6) scored the first run in the second before the visitors took the 2-1 lead in the top of the third. The advantage was short lived when Hawkeye responded with two runs in the bottom half of the inning to go back on top 3-2.

In the sixth, Miakoda Whitehorse opened with a base hit, followed by a knock by Ainsley Brown. Ella Garstang's single scored one and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Kaitlyn Mick made it 4-3. To back on top, Miakoda Whitehorse had a two RBI double in the seventh for the win.

Peytin Clemensen started the game and gave up two hits, three runs, walked four and fanned one. Hailey Shaefer got the win and allowed three hits, two runs and fanned two.

Game two took extra innings to decide the winner. The two were knotted at 1-1, with the visitors scoring their first run in the sixth. In the top of the eighth, Taryn Petty had a single and then made it home on an RBI double by Kendra Rohner. Emmalee Bell scored the final run.

Angelica Agro went all eight innings in the circle for the Panthers in the win and gave up five hits, walked four and fanned nine.
