The Panthers have been picked by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) softball coaches to finish the season 6th in the Region, but the team has other ideas. Panthers are returing four Honorable Mention All Region Players, Hannah Hoffman, a pitcher from St. Joseph, MO; Gwen Hovorka, an outfielder from West Bend, WI; Kylie Adden, an outfielder from Gardner, KS; and Katie Smith, a utility player from Robins, IA.
3 pitchers who account for all 17 of last season's team wins will be returning, in addition to the top 3 batting average leaders from the 2019 season in Hovorka, Adden, and Smith. The trio had a combined hit record of 35 doubles, 10 triples, 15 home runs, and 105 RBIs.
The Panther's strength lies in their experience from the past season with a total of 11 sophomores to contribute to the season's success and move up on the leaderboard.
