IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth CC had 12 members of its men's basketball team earn places on the 2024 Spring Academic All-Region teams released by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists include the 1st team student-athletes who had grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or spring-semester GPA. 

Members of the ECC men's basketball team who are on the academic 1st team are Andrew Bicknese, Arlandus Keyes, Christopher Willis, Clinton Efinda, Zeke Thompkins, Jaron Crews and Jordan Glenn-Hawkins.  Those on the 2nd team are Brennan Geoghegan, Chimobi Ikegwuruka, Cameron Liggins, Hemed Khalifa and Lamarana Diallo.

All 12 of these student-athletes were also on the 2023 Fall Academic All-Region teams.

Ellsworth Community College had a total of 114 student-athletes from 8 different teams that earned 2024 Spring Academic All-Region honors.
