Ellsworth Men Earn Win No. 20

IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- The Ellsworth men stepped out of the conference title chase on Saturday to record a win against IVCCD rival Marshalltown, 86-77.  The victory at Dittmer Gym improved the Panthers' overall record to 20-5, the first time they've had back-to-back seasons of at least 20 wins in over a decade.

Clinton Efinda and Cameron Liggins, who have both started this year, came off the bench in this one to combine for 37 points -- 20 for Efinda and 17 for Liggins.  Chimobi Ikegwuruka topped ECC with his 21 points and he pulled down 17 rebounds and blocked 4 shots.  Jordan Glenn-Hawkins chipped in 12 points.  Jaron Crews dished out 7 assists.

The Panthers opened up a 46-29 lead at the break and didn't allow the Tigers to get closer than 9 points in the final half.

Ellsworth returns to league play on Wednesday when Western Iowa Tech comes to Iowa Falls.
