The ECC Men's Basketball Team, currently holding the No. 9 spot in the rankings, witnessed standout performances from sophomore guard Arlandus Keyes. This impressive performance has earned him an Athlete of the Week nomination.

In the matchup against DI powerhouse Sauk Valley (Ill.), Keyes showcased his all-around skills, contributing 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals. His exceptional performance played a pivotal role in securing a significant victory for the Panthers.

Following this stellar display, Keyes continued to make waves in the ICCAC opener against Iowa Central. The sophomore guard delivered a breakout performance, scoring an impressive 29 points in just 21 minutes of play. Unfortunately, the game took an unexpected turn as Keyes had to exit due to injury, but not before leaving an indelible mark on the court.

Despite the setback, Arlandus Keyes has been a force to be reckoned with in the early stages of the 2023-24 season, averaging an impressive 14.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. His dynamic contributions on both ends of the court have solidified his position as a key player for the Panthers.
