IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Seven players from the Ellsworth Community College men's basketball team were named to the Academic All-Region teams for Spring 2022 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  Four of the players earned first-team honors with a grade point average between of 3.5 and 4.0; three squad members had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team selections.  

The Panther men's basketball players on the Spring Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team --Junior Bodden, Pietro Vannini, Srdjan Kopunovic and Tom Stanley.

Second Team -- Denneson Lucas, Jake Watson and Mateo Martinez.

There were a total of 103 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports who made the Academic All-Region teams for the Spring of 2022.
