IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth hung with visiting Iowa Western for the first 20 minutes of their Saturday battle at Dittmer Gymnasium, but the Panthers were limited to 22 second-half points and dropped the ICCAC game, 60-50.

Leading the scoring for ECC was sophomore guard Adam Jackson, the only double-digit scorer with 11.  Chay Guen, playing in just his 4th game of the season, pumped in nine points on 4-of-5 shooting.  Tony Alexander narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and a team-best nine rebounds.  Pietro Vannini scored eight points and VJ Wilmington was credited with five assists.

Next up for the Panthers is a contest at NIACC on Wednesday.
