Adam Jackson Named ICCAC Player of the Week

IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Adam Jackson used a 39-point outburst in Ellsworth's win at Southwestern CC last Saturday to be honored as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference's men's basketball Division II Player of the Week.  The league recognition comes after Jackson registered a career-high point total while making 13-of-20 shots from the field, 7-of-12 from 3-point range and 6-of-7 free throws to help the Panthers get a big road victory.

The 6-foot sophomore guard from Des Moines raised his season scoring average to 25.1 points a game, tops in the conference, and he is also averaging 5.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.4 steals per contest while making four threes a game.  Jackson was a second-team all-conference pick as a freshman when he averaged 14.5 points.

The Panthers will try to make it two straight wins when they play at Kirkwood CC Wednesday night.
