On Wednesday, Feb. 5 the Panthers hosted Little Priest Tribal College and picked up a much needed win, 78-67. Early in the first half, ECC went on a run to take a nine point advantage into the break and Josh Donaldson already had 16 points.

The Panthers built a double figure lead with 7:20 left and held on for the 12-point decision.

On Saturday, the Panthers traveled to 17th ranked NIACC and fell 88-73.

ECC scored the first basket of the game but the Trojans sprinted out to a double figure advantage early. Jackson led all scoring with 25 points and Donaldson added 20. Eddy chipped in 10.

The loss pushes the Panthers to 3-6 in the ICCAC and 12-12 overall. ECC still has to play highly ranked DMACC, Kirkwood and Iowa Lakes one more time.
