Iowa Falls, IA – Reece Anderson will take over the Ellsworth Panthers baseball program for the 2026 season, following a successful 31-win campaign as an assistant on the Panther staff this past season.

Anderson was a standout player for South Dakota State, where the centerfielder earned two selections to the All-Summit League team. Anderson also has several years experience of coaching for his high school alma mater, Johnston.

"We're excited to announce Reece as our new head baseball coach," said Ellsworth athletic director Nate Forsyth. "He was instrumental in our success last season, both offensively and defensively, while helping produce two All-American players. He is a bright young coach and we are excited to have him lead the program.
