IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth CC had 34 members of its baseball team earn places on the 2024 Spring Academic All-Region teams released by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists include the 1st team student-athletes who had grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or spring-semester GPA. 

Members of the ECC baseball team who are on the academic 1st team are Aidan Cox, Aidan Nigh, Alex Stewart, Brandon Weigel, Dariel Colon, Dominic Wade, Evan Miller, Gabriel Monosmith, George Hansen, Jake English, Jaden Morris, Jaxson Cornett, Jean Melean, Levi Beeler, Lukas Pollman, Luke Christensen, Mason Stenberg, Max Watson, Owen Norris, Riley Schrader and Sam Patton.  Those on the 2nd team are Boston Doeschot, Brock Adamson, Bryce Hoskinson, Carson Agan, Carter Arends, Casey Clair, Connor MacAlpine, Hunter Brown, Josh Morales, Karter Beving, Luke Saxton, Peyton Trees and Tanner Short.

Thirty of the 34 players were also on the 2023 Fall Academic All-Region teams.  They are Cox, Nigh, Stewart, Weigel, Colon, Wade, Miller, Monosmith, Hansen, English, Morris, Cornett, Melean, Beeler, Pollman, Watson, Norris, Schrader, Patton, Doeschot, Adamson, Hoskinson, Agan, Arends, Clair, MacAlpine, Morales, Beving, Saxton and Short.

Ellsworth Community College had a total of 114 student-athletes from 8 different teams that earned 2024 Spring Academic All-Region honors.
