Joe Johnson, a Grundy Center High School graduate, has signed to play basketball with the Ellsworth Community College Panthers. A 6'7" 215 lb. forward, Johnson averaged 9 points and 8 rebounds a game for the Spartans; he finished the season with a 22 point, 15 rebound effort. ECC Head Men's Basketball Coach Troy Muilenburg says, "Joe will add some size and strength to our team. He will get a chance to play against players more his size this next year."
