The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) announced honorees for 2017-18 All-Region teams, and three Ellsworth Community College men's basketball players were named to the 1st Team, 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention Team.
Sophomore guard Darius Lasley (Tama, IA) was named to First Team All-Region. Lasley scored a team-high 14.4 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the field. He also averaged 3.9 rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game.
Freshman forward/center Tristan Forsyth (Melbourne, Australia) was named to Second Team All-Region. Forsyth averaged 11.7 points per game and shot 55.6% from the field; he also averaged 5.6 rebounds per game.
Freshman guard LJ Harris (Kankakee, IL) was named to the Honorable Mention All-Region Team. He averaged 3.9 rebounds and 11.1 points per game, and tallied 29 assists for the season.
