Dear Prospective Panther,
We are glad that you are interested in attending Ellsworth Community College and joining our football program. At this time, I am not scheduling visits with prospective walk-ons. However, coaching staff members are usually available at each of our 'Panther Previews.’ There are multiple orientation sessions scheduled for this summer and our admissions office (641-648-4611) can inform you of the dates of those sessions.
To join our team as a walk-on you must follow ALL the instructions on the following pages outlined for our red-shirt team. We are more apt to work with those students who take care of all the paper work first. You can give yourself an edge by simply following the instructions outlined for the 'Panther Redshirt Football Program’ description.
After coaching in college for many years, many of the players who I am most proud of started their college careers as walk-ons. They were people who would not be denied and once given the opportunity they made the most of it! Ellsworth Community College is an excellent place to begin your college career. I hope that you decide to come to ECC. If you do, I look forward to working with you.
