IOWA FALLS – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced 2019 All-America Football honors. Ellsworth Community College had two players named All-Americans.  Cade Coulson, a freshman offensive lineman from Dubuque, IA, and Jake Poetzl, a freshman defensive lineman from Porterfield, WI.

Poetzl had 14 solo tackles for the season and 9 sacks with a total of 69 sack yards, earning him 15th in NJCAA in sacks and 5th in sack yardage lost.  Coulson was an integral part of the Panthers offense and helped anchor an offensive line that averaged 119 rushing yards a game.

Both Coulson and Poetzl received Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) All Conference Honors earlier this fall.  Coulson was named to the 1st Team Offensive Line, and Poetzl to 1st Team Defensive line.
