ECC football awarded All-American honors

Ellsworth Community College received high honors for three of their individual players, being recognized by the NJCAA as All-Americans. Offensive lineman, David Goldsby received 2nd team All-American honors and quarterback JuJuan Battle and linebacker Ryan Guthrie received honorable mention.

Goldsby, a sophomore from St. Louis, MO, will be transferring to University of New York at Buffalo to continue his playing career and education.

Battle, a sophomore from Orlando, FL, transferred into Ellsworth to play for the Panthers for one year. While at ECC he completed 234 passes while throwing for 3,118 yards and 26 TD's. He is currently enrolled at Alabama State.

Guthrie, a freshman from Forsyth County, GA, will be returning next year to play for the Panthers. He ranked 5th in the country in tackles with 127 total. He also had 2 interceptions and one fumble recovery for the year.
